Fusion of Flowers

It is very unusual for me to choose bright colors for scrapbook pages - I am more of a pastels and earthy tones kind of person - but because this photograph was taken in low light, it needed something bright to compliment it - and I found the perfect embellishments in these gorgeous felt flowers from Flower Fusion and added some sparkle by using Rhinestone Brads...

It is a 12" x 12" scrapbook page - for the base I used Textured Basic Black cardstock. Using the brand new Circle Scissor Plus I cut a circle out of Rose Red cardstock and then cut a smaller circle from my photograph to layer on the top.

I then used various flowers from my Flower Fusion tin and in the middle of each I used Rhinestone Brads for some sparkle and also used Brads from the Earth Elements and Rich Regals collections.

I just love this photograph - it captures a little girl's utter delight and joy on her birthday :-)

Supplies I used can all be found in the Spring Summer Catalog as follows:

Circle Scissor Plus & Glass Mat - pg 188
Flower Fusion - pg 177
Rhinestone Brads - Circle Fire & Circle Ice - pg 174
Earth Elements & Rich Regals brads - pg 174
Textured Black Cardstock - pg 153
