Goodbye Bella Blossoms...

I absolutely adore the stamp set Bella Blossoms - it is so beautiful and you can achieve some gorgeous effects with it using inks and glitters - I am sooo sad to see it on the Last Chance List - once June 30th rolls around it will be gone for good...I also love the versatility of this set - included are 3 sentiments making it usable for many different occasions - I love versatility and value for money :-)

Here is card that I made using it - it uses some of my favorite colors - Browns, Vanilla and Old Olive - and I added some sparkle using Dazzling Diamonds Glitter and the Pretties Kit...

This is a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" sized card - the base is Old Olive Cardstock onto which I matted a piece of brown textured DSP from the Parisian Breeze Specialty pack.

I took a piece of Whisper White and stamped onto it the flower stem in Old Olive. I then took another piece of white cardstock and stamped on the flower three times in three different inks - Chocolate Chip, Creamy Caramel and Close to Cocoa - I then cut them out to layer them. The Chocolate Chip flower is the base part and I cut it out and adhered it to the top of the green stem. I then cut out the other two layers and adhered them using Dimensionals to make the flower pop off of the page. I then added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to the dots of the flower to make it sparkle.

I used my Ticket Corner Punch to shape the corners and then matted this piece of white cardstock onto a piece of DSP from Bella Rose. I then took a piece of Very Vanilla Textured Cardstock and cut it to size - I used my Eyelet Border Punch to shape one edge and distressed the other 3 edges using my Paper Snips. I then adhered all layers together and onto the card base.

I tied around some Very Vanilla and Chocolate Chip Taffeta Ribbon and I took a hat pin from the Pretties Kit and threaded on some beads - I then tied around a piece of the Chocolate ribbon in the center of the hat pin and I attached this to my card using glue dots. I then stamped my sentiment and punched it out using my Large Oval Punch, finally matting this onto a piece of Old Olive punched out with my Scallop Oval Punch.

Bella Blossoms is currently on the Dormant List - if you want this fabulous set, you can order it directly online by clicking HERE - once there, simply click 'Shop Now' in the top right corner - in the search box type in the set name and it will find it for you - what a beautiful set :-)

Absolutely Gorgeous in Brown ( I bet it would really sparkle in the new suede in color too!). I'm heartsick about this one leaving the pack but then I always thought it should be featured in the Celebrando too!

Thanks for sharing - Jean
